Monday Class (8.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.) - Fortnightly

Venue : St Johns Church Hall, Churchfields, Hertford.

This class is for experienced dancers and who would like to take part in demonstration dancing displays as a member of a team. SEHSCDS also extends an invitation to suitably qualified dancers from other local Scottish Country Dancing Societies/Clubs who would like to join the class.

Classes are normally held fortnightly under the guidance of Maureen Ainsworth.

Tuesday Class (7.45 p.m. to 9.45 p.m.)

Venue: Bengeo Primary School - The Avenue, Hertford, SG14 3DX
Please use the car park and entrance in Sacombe Road.

This class is generally open to all who have had some experience of Scottish Dancing, normally by way of a Beginners Class. The primary aim of the teachers is to work through the dance programmes for SEHSCDS events. We also try to encourage members to go to events run by other clubs & societies by teaching a limited number of dances from forthcoming events elsewhere.

Thursday Class - Beginners - (7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.)

Venue: Millmead JMI School, Port Vale Hertford

This class is for beginners and improvers and covers all basic steps and formations. Its aim is to give everyone the confidence to take part in the social dancing of Jigs, Reels & Strathspeys.
